Bob Morane

Bob Morane one of the hosts of Viva la Electronica create a special summer house mix with a collection of unreleased stuff, boothlegs and some classic oldschool stuff.

So why just playing minimal, techno or house when everything can be combined? He was booked for the “Winter Music Conference” in Miami in 2007, where he was celebrated frenetically by the audience and the “Ruhr in Love” Festival in Oberhausen – an event visited by more then 25000 visitors. Other highly recommended events followed like the “Warsteiner World Club Tour” and the “Viva La Electonica World Tour”.

Viva la Electronica presents Alex Tea (OFF/Seoul Community)

Alessio Tizzano, aka Alex Tea Dj was born in Rome on February 26th, 1984. He has been passionately mixing and creating music since he was 15, and then his love for music has grown up together with him until becoming a real, deep passion which draws his attention most of the time. His evenings are always very well designed and assembled: his accuracy in studying and preparing mixing and tracks subsequence is almost manic. Preferred sonorities range from House to Underground passing through Techno. His music is so multifaceted and versatile that it might be difficult to detect a well-defined style, though his music and vynil selection can be easily located somewhere between deep-house and techno, with some hints of minimal on top of it. His best inspiration comes from artists like Mancuso, Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles, Maw, Luciano, Villalobos, Nick Curly, Ripperton, Skudge, Move D, and many more.

Stil vor Talent

Erich Lesovsky

We present again in the Show an artist who supports Viva la Electonica from the first days till now, Erich Lesovsky from the Berlin based label: Stil vor Talent.

There are only a few beams of lights from the super bright LEDs that illuminate his plain white mask, which erodes every sense of stardom. Next to his laptop and pad controller stands a glass filled with a green fluorescent substance, to which a sensitive piezo-microphone is attached, that is able to convert vibrations into sounds.

Erich Lesovsky puts his finger into the glass and swirls it around transmitting this electric impulse into his laptop and, in form of sound, to the crowd. While using a laptop to combine and sequence his music into tracks, he believes that it's easier to create chaos within an analog machine. And after all, it is in this chaos that Erich Lesovsky excels and that makes his music so exceptionally different. If sound was a house then Erich Lesovsky would be both the builder and the architect. And he would also be the first one to have a house warming party inside.
