Winter Music Conference (WMC) opened its 2013 season in South Florida with the announcement of the Winter Music Conference 2013 dates.

The who's who of electronic music, the state-of-the-art in video, lighting and laser technology, a magnet for techno fans from all over the world - all of this is Time Warp in Mannheim.

The Danish DJ's edition of the mix series is due out in January. Noir has mixed the next edition of In The House for Defected, due out on January 28th.

You still have the last release on your mind but the fourth release of the young German label Seoul community is about to kick off. Seoul Community remains true to itself with the new EP by the Belgian newcomer Kolombo.

Many times, biographies of techno acts start by singing their praise of an extremely early, extraordinary talent on synthesizers and other electronic devices. In Heron’s case, things are different:

Joakim Ijäs was born in Helsinki, but has now found his home in Berlin. Initial forays into making sounds with violins and pianos soon gave hway to the mechanical beats of hip-hop, mixed together with more popular sounds whilst playing at school discos before he was even a teenager.

A ginger boy and a full bearded boy who have been friends since they were teenagers teamed up again as "The Kakofoniks". This serious attempt is their way to express themselves in a huge diversity of dance music. No matter if it's slow and deep or fast and hard – in the end it’s about having fun on the dancefloor.
