Studio 80 supports and promotes contemporary electronic dance music. The concept of the Studio is to be a breeding ground and a showcase for new developments in dance music, involving djs, live-acts, producers and party organisers.

Mit dem STUDIO Essen eröffnete in der Ruhrmetropole im März 2011 eine Premium-Eventlocation, wie sie facettenreicher nicht sein könnte. In sehr zentraler Lage, in den ehemaligen Räumlichkeiten des Mikatronic, entstand ein wandelbares Nightlife-Projekt, das sich nicht auf bestimmte Musikrichtungen oder Eventkonzepte festlegen möchte, sondern eine Plattform für wechselnde Veranstaltungsformate verschiedenster Couleur bietet. Erste renommierte Eventreihen sind schon jetzt fest etabliert. Darüber hinaus möchte sich unser Gastronomiebetrieb aber auch stets offen für neue Eventideen kreativer Nightlife-Enthusiasten zeigen.

Das STUDIO hegt den Anspruch mit einem ausgeprägten Wohlfühlambiente, einer state-of-the-art Licht- und Soundtechnik und auf Basis jahrelanger, fundierter Gastronomieerfahrung auf ca. 800 m2 künftig ein farbenfrohes, internationales Programm im Ruhrgebiet zu bieten.
