DJWASK

Dj Wask is one of the most respected djs in Chile with more than 18 years behind the decks. Is the creator of the only one DJschool in Chile since 1998 www.djschool.cl. He also has a radio show, "Djwask en el aire", since 2001(radiozero) and now in Radio Carolina (Radio N#1, more than 250.000 listeners / hour ) www.carolina.cl broadcasts every Sundays at 23:00 hrs. For more than 6 years he was "M-powered Artist" for the world. Now he works for: Native Instruments, Ableton, Pioneer, as an agent for Chile and South America. Dj Wask was the first dance label manager in Chile working for BMG and SONYMUSIC. Wask won HEINEKEN THIRST with his FREAKYGROOVE band described by Tiësto like "a show without errors and orgasm for his ears" and in 2005 he was the "Ballantines Pulse" winner. Wask shared stage with: Underworld, Plastikman, Josh Wink, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Fatboy Slim, Satoshi Tomie, David Guetta, Armin Van Buren, Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Derrick May, Swayzak, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Dj Falcon, Justin Robertson, Todd Terry, Badboy Bill, Lucca, Wally Lopez, Laurent Wolf, Groove Armada, Les Schmitz(Amnesia Ibiza), and the list go on. This 2012 Dj Wask joins The Boxx Group.

Since a little boy I was feeling great curiosity for the music, then I meeting persons with which ones I shared similar tastes of music, It was a privileged time in 90s where I discovered many bands of all kinds of music that they me inspired and motivated me to with they sounds to developing my own projects. ” Rodrigo Laffertt beggan his career as DJ in the year 1999 on meeting two of his best friend Manuel Araneda y Pedro Campos. They three began to develop the scene of DJs underground, pioneers in Concepción (Chile). Motivated by the electronic music playing those years, This group was growing to be an important part of the cultural scene of Concepción and with recognition of national level. “We spend all the money we make buying disc of vinyl, in those days there are not the same technology of the present, therefore our develop was a little bit slower, but all ours music was long lasting in the time.We colud be playing the same records for 3 months without it seemed to be very reactionary “

As DJ, Rodrigo developed the very good technical one and excellent musical taste selecting always the best of the House and Techno, this allowed him to be outlined fast and to have showson important club’s in Concecpcion and other citys as: La República”, “Club 592., “Katanga Planet”, “Morena Dance Bar”, “Hi-Fi club” and #Dance Bar” in Pucón.Beside he creates and to lead his own radio show called: “Nightlife” & “After Hour, After Party” in the city of Pucón at 2004(Dial 94.5) His talent like a musical producer let’s Rodrigo be an artist of “DNW Records” a record label belonging to Dj Wask.Here he It published hisfirst works in digital format; Later on giving collaboration a Remixer, He managed to publish under a internationals record labels: “London Records” (Mikel Curcio, Canadá), “Nocturna Music” (Cesar Romero, Montreal), “Andes Music” (Francisco Allendes y Marcelo Rosselot, Chile), among others. Rodrigo make’s his own formula to create house music. according to his appraisal, with the simple mixing of the necessary ingredients, there can create pieces that can be considered to be very useful tools at the moment of playing in the most demanding dancing floors, this formula make’s me very god results and that it promote as one of the “promise” between his DJ colleagues “ I think my music should be contagious to people, with elegant and captivating sounds, without forgetting that my principal target is to offer, more than a show, a real and explosive party.

FABIAN ARGOMEDO

Young Chilean DJ and producer who has been climbing by little in his career nationally and internationally, has been presented at various clubs and festivals in Chile and South America as in Mendoza (Argentina), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Bahia Blanca (Argentina), Santa Rosa (Argentina), Colonia (Uruguay), Montevideo (Uruguay) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Sharing a cabin with renowned artists such as: D-Nox, Anthony Pappa, Alexkid, Joris Voorn, Soundexile, Logiztik Sounds, Alex Young, Francisco Allendes, Wally Lopez and others.

In his role as producer and has released over 50 releases on different labels among them are the English label Baroque Records, Monique Musique, Cr2 Records, Wirlpoolsex Music (Germany), Resopal Schallware, Toolroom Records (UK), Go Deeva (Italy), Tanzbar Musik (Germany) and also works in his trademark PRESSURE which has support from major artists.

His productions have the support of artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier, Mark Knight, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Hermanez, Chris Lake, Miss Nine, Alex Young, Rocha & Lewinger, Jim Star, Logiztik Sounds, Dave Seaman, Dubfire , Eelke Kleijn, DJPP, Eric Entrena, Wally Lopez, Hermanez, Derek Howell, among others.
